Steel Recycling Rates Update
Steel for Packaging Europe, formerly known as Apeal, recently published new data on steel recycling rates in Europe. At Finn-Korkki, both steel and aluminum are used in the production of our metal bottle caps.
An increasing proportion of the metals used to create our products, including RingCrown, RipCap, LuxTop and crown caps, is sourced from recycled materials. The rise in steel recycling rates across Europe and globally contributes significantly to the amount of recycled metal utilised in the production of these raw materials. Recycling metal plays a crucial role in fostering a circular economy for metal packaging, aligning Finn-Korkki with a sustainable future.

Aluminium rates have increased to 76% in 2021 with 10 countries having a collection rate above 85%
